The First Parish Church, United Church of Christ in Gorham and its Pastor The Rev. David Butler, has invited the Churches of Cumberland Association to meet for its Annual Meeting on October 28, 2012. The Delegates will gather at 2:30 PM to receive reports, elect officers, and approve a budget for the upcoming year.
The Program is entitled: Envisioning: Adding Our Views to the Conference Conversation
The Maine Conference leadership has been undergoing a self study-visioning process for the years ahead. The leadership of the Conference, that is, the three Commissions and the Coordinating Council, and staff have been involved in the process.
This is an opportunity for the Delegates of the Cumberland Association to have in-put into the process. What should the Maine Conference look like in the future? What should be the organizational structure?
