Religions differ on same-sex marriage.
This was the headline over the Letters to the Editor today in the Portland Press Herald.
At the very top of the page was our own John McCall recalling fondly the marriage of two lesbians within our church on October 1, 2011. We celebrate with these friends and all members of our church family who know that no matter who you are or where you are on life’s journey, you are welcome on Meetinghouse Hill. We are proud to be an Open and Affirming congregation where we celebrate love in all of the forms that God dares to imagine.
